Thinkspace is a high tech modern space consisting of two floors totaling 18,000 square feet at Lake Union Building in South Lake Union. It was a 2-Phase project designed to allow for early occupancy of one floor, while Avara completed the 2nd phase on the floor above. The project consisted of extensive demolition, coupled with significant asbestos abatement down to vanilla shell, with full trade build back. The space features private offices and suites as well as event space, meeting rooms, community kitchens, and the highest audio-visual technology to support the ongoing needs of its partners.

Chelsey Openshaw is a CPA with experience serving a variety of clients and industries in the accounting field.
Chelsey Openshaw brings years of experience in accounting, the preparation of financial statements, and a client focused mentality to the Avara Team. Her attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management enable her to lead the operations and accounting functions at Avara. Her experience includes an undergraduate and masters degree in accounting at the University of Washington as well as professional experience as an auditor and financial reporting accountant.

Chelsey Openshaw a wealth of experience in ground-up construction spanning retail, multi-tenant residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and health & fitness. Jason has nearly 10 years’ succeeding experience as a Project Engineer, and leverages his education and can-do attitude to make sure all of the details are thoughtfully considered throughout the lifecycle of the project.
